Sisters of Providence gather outside of Saint Joseph Chapel in Owens Hall prior to services for the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord on Feb. 2. This feast, celebrating when Simeon and Anna met Jesus in the temple, is also known as Candlemas Day or the Feast of Meeting.After blessing their candles and welcoming "Christ as the true light which surrounds us," the sisters processed into the Chapel for daily Liturgy.
